Description
Discover Umbria from the saddle on a full-day gravel adventure connecting the historic city of Spoleto with the mountains and valleys of the Valnerina.
Starting in southern Umbria, the route climbs through quiet roads and gravel sections towards Spoleto, one of the region’s most fascinating historic cities. From here, the ride continues into the Valnerina, passing through mountain landscapes, small villages and panoramic viewpoints before returning through the valley.
With around 72 km and 1,460 m of elevation gain, this is not a relaxed sightseeing tour. It’s a proper day in the saddle, designed for riders who want to experience a different side of Umbria — combining culture, landscape and adventure in one ride.
Expect a mix of gravel roads, quiet paved roads, climbs and descents, with plenty of opportunities to stop, take in the landscape and enjoy the ride.
